My BFF Has RETURNED!!

My BFF Nadia moved to California near the end of 4th grade and the last time I saw her was when she visited at the beginning of 5th grade. So guess what? I GET TO SEE HER TOMORROW!!! I'm picking her up tomorrow so we can go to the mall together and go window shopping! I can't wait to see her! I can finally give her that birthday present I forgot to send her in March LOLZ!!

Oh my god, 12AA tryouts are coming up soon! I made the 12AAA team last year but because of all the problems, they're having a 12AA team instead. If I make the team, I'm getting highlights(which will be AWESOME!!!) I've been going down in the basement a LOT and practicing. I think I've almost mastered my shot! I use to only be able top shoot really low, but now I can shoot WAYYYYYYYYY above the net! I've had hockey all week, but my legs are kind of tired sore so I'm planning on resting tomorrow. Tryouts are Saturday and Sunday! I AM SO F R E A K I N G NERVOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My 4th of July was FANTASTIC! Not only did Hannah come over, we had a $50 cupon to Davy Jones fireworks, so we had a LOT. There were spinning flowers, sparklers, snappers, cukoos, smoke bombs, mammoth smoke, little airplanes, and lots of fountains. My favorite thing was the spinning flowers. After our little show, we walked down the street and saw distant firework shows. It was so fun! We also had red white & blue starkiss popsicles from DQ. YUM!!!

YAY! My parents finally let me have an email and texting! It's so much fun! The texting is an app on my iPod called Textfree. Textnow is another good texting app, but i've heard Textfree is much better. It's all free, and there's no catch. You don't have to pay a single penny to text ever again! So far I've texted all my friends and cousins. I can finally understand why people just want to sit all day on the couch and text their brains out, but I won't ever do that.

The weather is so weird! Last night there was a lightning storm near my house! There was one zap that I was sure hit a house in my neighborhood. The scary storm kept me up untill 4:30 am. If you should know something about me, my worst fear is that I'll get zapped by lightning. And now today it's only 50 degrees! How cold! I haven't had to wear jeans and a long sleeve shirt for a long time. It's still a little murky outside.

Honestly, I'm more nervous about 7th grade than I was for 6th! I'm worried I won't have any classes with my friends and we won't even be on the same team! I'm also having bad dreams. Last week, I dreamed that I was in a classroom and I saw my friend Mickaela walk in, so I waved to her. She ignored me and went over to sit to my worst enemy. A few days ago I had a dream that I couldn't find my locker, and my teacher only gave me a small hint about where it is. After 30 minutes of searching, I finally found it. The lockers were in a curved little section and the actual locker seperators were made out of flexible metal, and when I put my lock on, it ripped the metal. A couple nights ago, I had a dream that my locker was in the 6th grade section and it didn't have a door, so I made one myself, and it was stolen. Last night was actually a good dream. We were in gym class and I guess it had something to do with plants becuase there were flowers there and me and my friend Mickaela were picking them out. We were also like sisters in the dream. We did everything together. The gym teacher was the one from my elementary school and he was being pretty hard on us. We did some extremely dangerous sports.

I was watching this America's Got Talent and there was this one freaky guy named Alaska(from Alaska too) who seemed to not know his gender. He looked like some sort of freakish lady! He had long, red hair and wore a tank top, studded jeans, a diamond necklace, diamond earrings, and get this....HIGH HEELS!!! His "talent" was freestyle dancing to an '80's song. This part is hilarious: soon everyone was dancing along with him except for 1 annoyed judge. I wonder...where do they find these people?

Today I had my hair cut, and now I have bangs! They're long bangs, as long as my chin. I put them off to the side. I look like a little adult now! The rest of my hair is really long, so the hair stylist had to blend them in by cutting at an angle. It's so cool, though! Whenver I have a ponytail, I leave them out and let them dangle. It feel so weird having short, chin lenght hair, then having it gradually longer 8 inches down. It makes my head look longer, too! Trying new things is AWESOME!

Today, I took my feathers out! Well, just for the summer. If you swim with your feathers in, the chlorine will bleach your feathers so they'll lose their color. I wouldn't want that to happen to my feathers! It feels so weird without them. I was so use to them always hanging down in my face when I don't put them in a ponytail or braid. Also, I don't have to comb around them anymore! The little bead holding the feathers in won't fit between the teeh of the comb. Also, now I can do whatever hair style I want without having to worry about my feathers getting cooked, tangled, or messed up.
